Blackest Day, Whitest Night by BlackScars

Legend tells us of a story from days long ago, about a young dragon hybrid who was famouse thoughtout the land of Rockets. He was orginally an ice dragon but was gifted with the powers to use fire and lightning as well. He ice blade was a two handed sword, sharp as ice but harder than concrete. His power was beyond anyone could comprehend, it brought a fear that even ones of evil hearts trembled. His name you ask? He was once known as the legendary JamMan43: Ultimate Dragon Warrior. He came to us from who knows where, but he is one with our hearts. He's kind and gentle to those who respect him, but he's firm and just when people get out of line. Some called him brother, some father, others best friend, and he watched over this valley and ensured no evil would come to past. His latest acheivement was the epic battle of his arch rival Diabolical. A demon lord that had come to try and take over the world but Jam discoverying new powers found a way to defeat him in battle sending him into the dark world. For centuries he plotted his revenge against Jam trying to find a weakness that may destroy him once and for all.

One day a witch appeared to him. "To destroy the dragon that you hate, break his heart and seal his fate. Take that is dear and turn him bad, let him destroy the ones he loves lives and make them sad. When that is done his heart will be dark, then come in like a surging shark. With this blade I will end his years, after I've let him shed some blood and tears." she said with an evil smirk on her face. Her name was Madam Break, a witch that was known for torturing her victums, breaking them or turning them evil until there was nothing left and then destroying them . Diabolical loved his idea, he sneered and said "Go witch and destroy the dragon so I may rule supreme once again!" "Yes sir" she said and she poofed away in a form of purple smoke.

As this plot was being made Jam was getting ready for his yearly house party. He held one every year inviting his friends and family to his castle for a day of fun and enjoyment. His wife, Sam the RoseDragon, and his 3 kids Jason the oldest ice dragon, David his lightning dragon, and Ashley his FireRose and youngest child, all helped to decorate and practice there magic to perform before there friends and family. Unknown to them that the danger they fought against was lurking among them, closer than they thought. Later that evening, the witch placed a pill into one of Jam's drinks without anyone seeing her and queitly kidnapped his youngest child and his only daughter. She then summoned a monster known as Kitsune, she was a dark demon fox with powers of unimaginable powers. She told the Kitsune to wait till Jam had taken the drink and left for bed and then when he was asleep to destroy the family after everone had left and leave the bodies for him to see. The Kitsune obeyed and hid in the shadows as the party started.

As the night began, friends and family began to arrive at Jam's castle. Everyone was so excited to see there protector and his family and enjoy a nice home cooked meal from Sam who one of the most excellent cooks in the world. They began with the food and Jam picked up his cup and proposed that they make a toast. "To peace and joy everywhere, for as long as our hearts remain pure, peace and harmony will remain always." he said proudly. "HERE HERE!" they said and they all drank and laughed at the table. A couple of hours later Jam began to feel a little sleepy, he told Sam he was going to bed for a bit before the show, she kissed him and he locked himself in his bed and went to sleep. Then the Kitsune arrived, crashing through the window. Jason saw her first and drew his sword and headed towards her, as did David. They ran up to her and both went to strike her only to find that she was gone. She ran behind them, using her dangerously sharp claws she plunged them into there backs. They screamed in pain and Sam issued everyone leave quickly. The guest ran out and ran to there homes to safety as Jason and David tried to fight the evil kitsune. By the time all the guest had left, Sam turned around only to see her sons in a pile of blood on the floor. The kitsune's nails were drenched in blood and so were her fangs. Sam went into her Rose dragon form and they both battled in the dinning room. Rose did her best, throwing fire and her most powerful magic spell at her but the kitsune was too fast and jumped onto her neck, digging into it with her nails and clawing away at Sam. Sam tried to defend herself and get the kitsune off her but it was no use, she fell to the ground and the kitsune shattered her into pieces and let out an evil laugh as she left. She escaped into the night to leave nothing but dead bodies for Jam to see.

Jam awoke the next morning, he yanwed and stretched to find that Sam was not in bed with him. He was puzzled and went to see where she was. As he came into the dinning room a note hung above the door before he opened it. "If you ever wanna see your daughter again, see the surprise inside the door and find her." it said. He looked puzzled and stepped in, thats when everything changed. Jam saw the bodies of his sons and his wife laying on the ground, clawed and bleeding, they were dead beyond his power to heal or revive. Jam ran to there bodies and sobbed heavily, especially when he got to his wife's body. As he sobbed the earth began to shake, his eyes red with rage, his body turned black, he soon turned into his dark side Evil Jam. His body was nothing but pure dark fire and lava, and he went on a rampage, destroying everything and everyone in his path, even his own friends and family members. Soon the people who loved Jam, feared him, but he was unstoppable, destroying nations within one swipe of his hand, killing men and women, even children with a swing of his evil sword. Evil Jam reigned for 5 months before the kitsune had returned and he sat there. The ktsune sneered and licked her lips "So that was your family i ate, they were quite tasty ya know." she said. Before she could get another word out Jam was at her throat, his eyes were blood red, his hair was also blood red and so was his wings. He threw the kitsune into the air and with his sword, cut her into so many pieces she looked like shredded paper. He used the sent of the kitsune to find the witch in the valley of death. He found her in a cave snickering and holding a child next to her. "So you have finally found me, well before you destroy me you might want to think of something." She said and put his youngest daughter in front of her like a human shield. Jam eyes became blue and he dropped his weapon. "Please i'll do anything you ask if you just give me back my daughter please?!" he begged. His body had returned to his natural form as he pleaded with the witch for his daughter. She thought for a moment and said "Give me your good heart and I will give you that which you desire." she said. Jam used his magic and pulled out the good heart that was within him, she stared at it and took it gracefully. "Thank you Jam." she said, throwing a dragon dart into his other heart and then slitting his daughters throat. Jam backed up and hit the ground with his knees. The witch laughed evilly then the voice of Diabolical was heard in the cave. "Hows it feel to loose everything? To loose everyone you use to care bout fear you." he said showing an image of the damage he had done as Evil Jam, then showing him the death of his kids. "Hows it feel to see everyone you love DIEEEE!!!!!" he said with an evil laugh. Jam looked into the eyes of his dead daughter, he lifted up his hand and with the last of his power destroyed the witch before he collasped on the ground dead.

The passing of Jam's death spread across the land like wildire. Diabolical left his prison in which Jam had put him and he took over with an iron fist. The world went from beautiful and peaceful, to dark and choas. Most men were made slaves to build his many different castles, some were transformed into his demon armies and served as the ones who would fight any of those who opposed him. Many women went missing into his castle in which he stole from Jam and transformed into his own. The few who did want to follow him fled into deep into the Forest of Light and hide there for no evil dared to step into there for it was magically enchanted with good magic none that could be broken with any evil magic. The rebels lived there peacefully and were the ones who kept the Dragon of Legend Jam alive. For 5 years Diabolical reigned and no ones was strong enough to appose him. The hope they had was lost and for 5 years they tried to figure out how they could oppose the evil tryannt but no one knew how they could until one special day.

It was a cold day in the month of November, the rebels were busy gathering sticks for there houses to keep themselves warm for the upcoming winter. One girl in particular, a young half panda half girl named Diamond was helping the fields when she noticed a strange man heading towards her. He wore a white hat and robe, and walked with a cane. She watched as the man walked up to her and said "Is this the village of the remaining rebels who believe in the Dragon of Old?" Her eyes widened and she quickly nodded yes. She lead him to the village where everyone gathered together to hear what he had to say "I have heard that there was a village here that hid from evil and still believe in the tails of the legendary Jam. Well today is a special day for it has come to bring back that legend." One man replied "How can you revive one that is dead?" The man pulled out an orb that was glowing a bright white light "Someone must journey to the place where his body lays and put this in where his heart once was, it will either bring him back or he will awake just his dragon form and he will destroy us all, is there anyone willing to do this?" he asked. The panda girl Diamond raised her hand "I know a short cut there in which I won't be spotted I can do it." she said. The man smiled and handed her the orb, "once this inside him, stand back and wait till the light goes out, when it does either a new warrior will appear or a dragon of evil will appear, this is a life risker so becareful." She nodded, wrapped the orb in a blackent, and headed into the forest in search of Jam's body.

The girl ran to a nearby well and jumpped into it where she found an underground cave. Lighting a torch she ran as fast as she could to the temple where Jam's body laid. She knew Jam from before and was desperate in reviving her old friend back. She ran for days and days until she finally made it to the temple and saw the body of Jam laying on the ground. She ran next to him and placed the orb where his heart was. The orb began to glow then shattered into pieces, then form the the shape of a heart went into his chest and began to pump. She ran out and went behind the wall to see a light glow and a figure walk out of the light. Jam had returned but this time was different. His hair was red as blood and sharp as ice, his eye were not a calm red, his skin was darker than the night itself, his sword was a white and black color, he wore a black shirt with red lining and black pants with black and white shoes. He walked out and looked to see Panda sitting there staring at him. He took her by the hand and they were within seconds at the camp. Everyone was amazed and wondered who he was. He looked up and fell on the ground, he began to cry and sob again as he sat there and cried a river of tears. Panda held him tightly and calmly whispered in his ear "your home again, its ok sweetie your home." He looked up at her and announced to everyone, "The hurt makes me stronger. You pain helps me last longer. Through the darkness I emerge with a victory, tick me off and its the last thing you ever see. My heart is gray but has been recarved. Welcome to my wold, the world of BlackScars." This was the beginning of a new person, a new warrior, his name was BlackScars, and he was here to save us all from the evil of Diabolica. This is where his legend begins.
