Hob of legend, Part 1: Story of a Hob named Charles.

Once upon a time there was a Hob named Charles who wanted to turn over a new leaf.

He traveled from village to village hoping to find a job, but noone accepted him, they called him theif, bandit and ran him out of town.

Charles was about to give up when he reached a solitary metal shop on the outskirts of town, lukily these people didnt care as long as u had muscle and were willing to work.
Charles was happy, so he smiled, and the man said, if you want to work here go brush your teeth first.
Charles said: But i do not have a place to go, no toothbrush to use, and the closest stream is near the village that last shunned me.
So the nice man invited him to his house and gave him a sturdy tent, a toothbrush and toothpaste and said: Whenever u need to brush your teeth, pop by the metal shop and you can use the sink there, and set up your tent near the metal shop incase of a storm or sumthin.

The days carried on as he work there, everyday he brushed his teeth got more bloody and bloody because the gingivitis and other stuff has reached a point of turning his gums black.

He asked the nice man on his second week of work: Is this okay? The man's eyes widened and he said, with a stutter, they are whiter then freash snow *fake smile*.

As the hob was working he came by some glass and smiled into it..he noticed his teeth, and he screamed and yelled, humans only lie! My teeth are not white! D:

Make it about a dirty dentist <O<

Due to a suggestion from the reply above, I give you part 2 xD

Three years have passed since we last saw charles after his attempt at turning over a new leaf. These three years have been the worst of his life, more questers then ever before hunting him down for his pickaxe.

That is not the worst part..after 2 years of repeat questers, he had become a Hob Fighter and was expected to fight by his underlings, the hobs. So quester after quester doing that level 40 quest were after him. He ran, he hid, and the hobs were dissapointed at their new leader.

Charles was now thinking' now that i'am different, maybe i will try again'. So, he did, Charles went from town to town once more, this time he was prepared for any possible acceptance. He had money from his other job in the metal works...and from the cargo train that past through Vine Tomb last summer.

Because he had money and remembered how to act in front of normal humans he was accepted in the first town he went to! Charles was happy, but he knew not to smile.

He then found a Job being a dentist assistant(ahh what irony he thought).
The head denstist, Wallace Wiggins the Twenty-Fifth told him he will give him a free teeth checkup and cleaning as his welcoming to the job.

So Charles lied down on the dust covered dentistry chair, and looked around and noticed all the walls were brown..not by colour, but by some slimey substance. It reminded him of his moms cooking, but thats off the story, anyways, the dentist came into the room and said "let us begin". So the dentist grabbed all his grime covered tools and told Charles to open his mouth. The dentist looked carefully and said, WOW those are sum dirty chompers, let's clean them right up!

The dentist begin to work, Charles worried that those dirty tools would make his teeth worse, and so they did. Dentist said "all done" and brought Charles to a mirror. Charles smiled and you won't beleive what he saw...

Spoiler:

Charles was furious, he took his weapon and smashed it on the dentist's head. Charles yelled at the dead body"you are no dentist!". Charles then ran off, as he was he saw a poster that said "The town of DirtyTeeth, we take great pride of having the worst teeth in the world. He thought "oh, i can stay here then". So he turned around and did a huge smile, and people were shocked, they all screamed at him"leave town! How dare you get worse teeth then the mayor, leave at once!". Once again Charles will live his life as a bandit in Vine Tomb, him and his underlings and partners all planning on how to take over Vine Tomb from Robo. That is a different story, *suspense music*.

The story of Charles the Hob now continues within the center of VT, where Charles holds a conference with the ghosts, bears, vivis, spiders,foxes, and other hobs about the current reign of VT.

Charles tells all those on his side " We of Vine tomb do not condone to the ways of Robo! We are not his slave! Help me in this war, and together we will stop Robo and his minions of imps and procks!!." Everyone shouts " ALL HAIL CHARLES!!! Saviour of Vine Tomb!"

Charles and his main tactitian team started devising a plan, the path behind Robo's lair is where his Foxes,vivis,and bears from MT and VT will circle around back from Goblin Camp to ambush his minions. While His main army of hobs,spiders, and ghosts will do a frontal assault. The zombies do not want anything to do with this war, they are staying out of it.

And so it begins...

Charles gathered his army and geared them up with stolen goods from elderine. While his sneak team quietly goes around the back. Charles can hear battle cries in the distance, the sneak team has begun it's attack, and so will his frontal assault.

Robo being unaware of Charles's plans is shocked as the sound of his dieing minions reaches him. He shouts "Captian of the guard Imp! Secure the gates, prepare for war!" Imp Captian " Yes, my king."

Robo's gates close with a loud bang and the clanking of chains, as he watches through the last sliver of opened gate, he sees Charles and his army charging towards his gates with 3 tree trunks tied together carried by Hobs and spiders.

The ghosts, invisible, waiting for the opportunity to strike. The logs thrash against the gates with earth shattering force, the imps holding it down. Prock's anxiously waiting with their bullet seeds ready, and Robo, in his armor and dual swords of fire and ice.

Charles breaks through his main gate and sends the imps flying backwards, they get up and wait for Robo's orders, he says.." Defend my Kingdom!!" Charles replies " You will not be king anymore, attack my army!!"

The clash of fangs, on bone swords, bullet seeds passing through ghosts and a pickaxe finding its way into an imp's skull. The fight is brutal , blood showers the battle field, but Charles wonders, where is the rest of his army. They did not make it..
Imps and procks attack from outside the gate, surprising Charles!

Charles's foxes, bears, and vivis have all been defeated..but..why did Robo's army not lose any men from behind. Robo knew Charles was wondering this and shouted " I have an alliance with none other then Goblin King himself! His goblin army tore your's into shreads!!"

Charles, down on his knees, watching his men get slaughtered one by one, his life flashing before his eyes. All hope is lost, he thought, him and his alliance is just too powerfull, but then...

The imps and procks from behind started dieing off one by one, Charles not knowing why, then he saw, an arrow peirce the head of an imp and wondered, .. arrows? Then a sword, an axe, light of healing in the distance!

An unkown ally has come to the rescue, it was the guild, CuddleMonkeys!

Charles met up with their captain Aboo and asked " Why are you here? When did we becomes allies with one of the strongest guilds in Isya?" Aboo replied " When both our enemies are the same, we are friends!"

The battle continued, the guild and Charles's army killing all in their path. Aboo says " Our job here is done, you have fought valiantly , i will give you the honor of slaying Robo himself, gooday to you then!" CuddleMonkeys left.

Now only Robo and Charles remain, face to face, champion against champion!! They glared at each other with eyes of pure hatred, Charles speaking the first words." Your time as Vine Tomb's ruler ends today Robo!!" Thus Charles attacks Robo head on.

The battle echoes across Vine Tomb, the zombies paralyzed with fear of the pure power that comes from it. Charles is at a disadvantage but he does not give up, he attacks, dodges, and aims for any weak point, but Robo is just too powerful.

Then out of no where, a light shine's above Charles filling him with strength. The Godess of Isya has recognized his strength and his will to sacrifice himself for the future of Vine Tomb, and the villages he will be freeing from Robo's plunder.

The final strike, it creates tremors all over Vine Tomb, a large flash and a cloud of dust fill the area..the dust clears and the light fades away. A pause.. Robo and Charles both completly still.

Robo says "You are quite powerful for a once common bandit." Charles " You are exactly what I expected." Then, they both fall over, breathless, ending the war of Vine Tomb, and creating a brighter future for the children that live in it.

That is the end of Charles's tale on his quest to be excepted by humans, but that dream was not full filled, but more! He was accepted by just the humans but the Goddess herself.


That spells the end of 'The Hob of legend' Trilogy.

I have Decided to make a part 4, due to some requests.
I call it Part 4: Trilogy broken, new surprises.

If you read the last 3 installments you will know of what happened to charles, he had died valiantly against the mighty Robo, bringing robo down with him. But..this is a new story, of Charle's unkown son, and the one they call Robo's other half, but we all know, he's just a distant cousin, they did not talk much.

This tale occurs 15 years after they great battle of Vine Tomb, Charles's son, now 18, is about to go raid a passing village parade, but he was interupted by an imp messenger.

Imp messenger says: "I have finally found you, son of Charles. I have been sent to look for you by our current leader, until you have been found of course.


Son of charles said "I heard tales of charles from my mother, but other than that i know nothing of him, and your saying he is my father? That is ubsurd, my mum would have told me."

Imp " Well it is true, I never lie, especially in front of the son of the one we call 'Slayer of Evil'. Plus, they'll have my head if I do not bring you back within the week!"

Son of Charles " Alright, I will go with you, but , I still do not 100% trust you."

Imp " Very well, follow me, sire to be."

The imp takes Son of Charles through VT, passing through the staring eyes of the inhabitants of this land, all wondering if it really IS Charles son. They reach the gates of Vine Tomb Kingdom.

When they reach inside, there is a Hob Fighter currently on the throne, one named Jordee, he was the captain serving under Charles during his time.

Jordee speaks with a loud, booming voice " Son of Charles! We have finally found you, the one who will lead us into a new age of Vine Tomb, successor of your father!"

Jordee continues to speak " Son of Charles, what is your name? Speak, so we know what we shall call you from this day."

Son of Charles says, in a low voice " My name is Bob, what of it?"

Jordee "Well then, Bob, son of Charles, you are our new king of Vine Tomb!!"

Everyone cheers, and Bob, he just accepted right away, he felt that he was meant for this role. Everything was peaceful, but not for long. In the distance, in a place where you can only enter through the best of mages, lurks a man, one with twin swords of lightning and rain. He is known across the land by kingdom questers of all sorts. His name, is, Millenium Robo, he who stalks his foretress which you cannot escape from until the seal is weakened over time.


Every time a group of brave warriors enters his kingdom in attempts to kill him, none have so far prevailed, they all die a gory death. Lukily the mages of towns can teleport them back and clerics can revive them if all have died.

Millenium Robo " Ahh, so , you say the son of Charles, Bob, has taken rule over Vine Tomb?"

A shadowy figure, with a low,deep, but human like voice speaks "Yes, my king, he has been found, and crowned."


Millenium Robo" It is time, I shall escape my prison and avenge the family name of Robo, my cousin was weak, but I, I am twice the strength he was, hahahahahaha."

Millenium Robo continues" Come my minions, come out of the dark and serve me as we escape from here and wage war against our cousind of Vine Tomb!"

As his voice boomed across his kingdom, monsters of every sort appeared from the shadows. Skeletons, spiders, imps, mushrooms, wolves, Fire vivis, but these are not the ones you suspect they are, these are a special breed of super monsters who were also sealed with Millenium Robo because their power was too great.

The battle of Vine Tomb was won once before, but the everlasting wars has just begun...
